Vineyards and technology
At present the Marcinčák winery works 110 ha of vineyard in 5 wine-growing villages: Brod nad Dyjí, Dobré Pole, Jevišovka, Novosedly and Nový Přerov. The vineyards all have excellent locations in the warmest region of the Czech Republic. The individual vineyards bear historically-documented place names.
The philosophy of cultivation consists of low stress on the individual vines, a low-volume harvest, and individual care for each vine. The vineyards are cultivated according to principles of Bio-production; in other words, harmony with nature.
The geologic composition of the vineyard tracts is comparable in its age and characteristics with that of the Médoc region of Bordeaux, where tertiary sediments collected in different bays of the same sea. Photo1 Photo2

Laying down the wine
After treatment, all of the wines are bottled and laid down in archive cellars, where they mature at a constant temperature of 10-12°C. As needed they are gradually selected and taken to the delivery warehouse, where the bottles are washed and given a vignette, then shipped.
